Currently, the price of memory products, mainly DRAM and NAND Flash, continues to decline as demand in the consumer electronics market continues to weaken and current memory sellers face pressure from high inventories.
To avoid another sharp drop in memory prices, several suppliers have aggressively cut production. While price declines will moderate in the first quarter of 2023, the firm still expects DRAM prices to fall 13 to 18 percent and NAND Flash prices to average 10 to 15 percent in the current quarter.
